Claudio Zamudio

Claudio Zamudio was born to Trinidad & Rosaura Moreno Zamudio on November 1, 1951 at his family’s home in Los Nogales, Michoacan, Mexico. Claudio went to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, California from a brave battle against cancer. Claudio was raised in Santa Rita, Jalisco, Mexico before moving to the United States of America. Some of Claudio’s passions in life were; soccer and going to the theaters and watching movies. Some of Claudio’s friends while growing up were; Manuel Rojas, Gonzalo Soto, Samuel Soto, Francisco Zamudio and Cesilio Zamudio. Later in life he became good friends with; Jose Garcia, Gonzalo Salinas, Salvador Zaragosa, Javier Zaragosa, Juan Lucas, Francisco Garcia, Joaquin Garcia, Gustavo Garcia, Tono Garcia and Enrique Garcia. He married the love of his life; Silvia Gordillo Zamudio on October 13, 1997 at a Civil Ayotlan Church in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Together they had their one precious daughter; Claudia Alejandra Zamudio. Claudio spent his entire life working as a Farm Laborer. Claudio had been employed at Sandridge Partners from 2000-2007 until retiring on February 14 due to his illness in 2007. Whenever Claudio found the opportunity to travel he enjoyed traveling to Mexico and visiting family and friends. He was especially fond of dogs and had had one for 7 years.

Claudio was preceded in death by his parents; Trinidad & Rosaura Zamudio, three sisters; Maria de Jesus Zamudio, Ana Maria Zamudio & Bibiana Zamudio and a brother; Juan Zamudio. Claudio is survived by his loving wife; Silvia Zamudio and his precious daughter; Claudia Zamudio of Gardena, California. Claudio leaves behind his six brothers; Luz Zamudio, Manuel Zamudio, Alfonso Zamudio, Trinidad Zamudio, Jr., Ramon Zamudio & Jose Zamudio. He also has two sisters; Elisa Zamudio & Eloisa Zamudio. Claudio is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him…

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church; Empire Street, Stratford, CA 93266 559-924-2562 with Burial to follow at Grangeville Cemetery; 10428 14th Avenue, Armona, CA 93202 559-924-3439.
