She was born in Wheeling Township, St. Clairsville, Ohio on February 25, 1924, a daughter of the late Harold and Emma Eisenbarth Taylor.
Elizabeth was a Legal Secretary for the St. Clairsville Courthouse, the Hanna Coal Company of Ohio, and the Kerr McMaster & Kerr Law Offices. She also worked at Bob’s Big Boy, and the Monolith Portland Cement Company. She was a member of the Hanford Red Hatters, volunteered at the Lemoore Relay for Life and was an avid card player (Canasta, Hand-n-Foot, and Poker were her favorites).
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Leavengood; brothers William Taylor, James Taylor, Dwight Taylor and sister Ila Simmons.
She is survived by her brothers Cecil and Charles Taylor; two stepsons Barry and Dean Leavengood, two step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
