Felipe De Jesus Rojas

Felipe De Jesus Rojas, 44 beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle went home to be with his father God on August 12, 2012. He was a construction worker. Felipe was born in Tijuana, Mexico on February 5, 1968 to Jorge and Gregoria Rojas. He attended and graduated from Delta View and Hanford High Schools. He loved playing and coaching softball as well as playing horseshoes with his compadres and sons. Felipe liked watching the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and the 76ers play.

The last few months of his life he was devoted to attending Praise Chapel where he had found Jesus in his heart. He most enjoyed times spent loving and caring for his family and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Felipe leaves to cherish his memory, his parents; Jorge & Gregoria Rojas, loving children; Jessie Rojas & Cindy Ramirez, Jorge Rojas & Ashley Molidor, Lucia Rojas & Patrick Plata and Jovoni Rojas all of Hanford; four grandchildren; Jessie & Gaige Rojas, Jazzmyn Rojas and Damien Plata and two soon to be granddaughters; Zoey & Lasynna Rojas and his dog Dougie. He also leaves behind two sisters; Gloria & husband Sal Rivera, Georgina Rojas & Jeremiah Fernandez, six brothers; his favorite being Juan & wife Demetria Rojas, Julian & wife Maria Rojas, David Rojas & Rochelle Padilla, Steven Rojas, Daniel Rojas and Peter Rojas & Crystal Galaviz and 21 nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. with an Evening Service at 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591 with a Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Praise Chapel; 270 Gilkey Lane, Hanford, CA 93230 with Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery; 11680 S. 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-3937.
