Frances Jane Bettencourt, 82, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 in Hanford, CA. Frances was born July 11, 1941 in Hanford, CA to Glenn and Roberta McNary. She married Donald Bettencourt on February 27, 1960 and together they raised their family of two children in Visalia, CA. Frances was a caring wife, loving and supportive mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her animals, and the beach where she collected hundreds of sea shells. She especially loved Disney and taking her family to Disneyland! She attended numerous soccer games, band concerts, plays, cattle shows, and any other activities of her grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her children, Alan (Wendy) Bettencourt of Eagle Point, OR and Renee (Mark) Savage of Woodlake, CA, grandchildren, Sam (Brittany) Savage, Luke (Annalee) Savage, and Ciara Bettencourt, great grandchildren, Logan, Lane, Callum, and Matilda (Tilly) Savage. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth (Tom) Fritz and Kathryn (Denis) Schumacher.
A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on January 12, 2024 at the First Presbyterian Church, 415 N. Redington, Hanford, CA 93230.
