Frank was born on September 10, 1944, in the Los Angeles area to Manuel and Maria Romero. He moved to Earlimart, California during his teen years. Frank graduated from Delano High School in 1963. It was during high school he met the love of his life, Pauline Saenz. They wed on September 10, 1966. Theirs was a true love story which blossomed for 53 years.
Frank enlisted in the Army serving 4 years. After the military, Frank was a field worker in the Delano area. He then was hired to work for Armstrong Tire Company later becoming Pirelli Tire Company in Hanford, Ca. It is here he retired after 33 years of employment. Frank enjoyed coaching Bobby Sox for his daughters. After retirement he volunteered at the Hanford Fraternal Hall as a bartender and also volunteered at the Adventist Health Medical Center. Frank was an avid listener of oldies music. Many of the proudest, and happiest moments of his life, were when he was able to spend time with his seven grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them grow up and was a huge supporter of their pursuits of higher education.
Frank was a devoted and loving father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He was a loving son, caring brother, and a supportive uncle. He was a handyman around his home. All of the projects around the Romero home, in Hanford, were completed by Frank. He enjoyed spending time with his family. It is not surprising Frank left a legacy of hard work and caring.
