Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path that’s been chosen for me.
If my parting so soon has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
Please look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much,
Great family, good times, my loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seems all to brief,
please don’t lengthen your pain with undue grief.
Lift up your heart, and peace to thee,
God wanted me now- He set me free.
Greg was born July 12th, 1962, in Fresno, California to Jerry and Marlene Beavers.
There are endless wonderful, amazing memories to share of Greg. If you knew him you would agree how funny, goofy, and how he was always the life of the party. He had many interests in life, fascinated by history and sharing stories to his children and grandchildren. His family meant everything to him, and you would often find him planning their next summer trip to the lake at Boca, or an ocean trip to Morro Bay. On the weekends he would spend his time drinking his favorite Miller, watching Bar Rescue, surrounded by his grandchildren. His passing leaves us with a heartache no one can heal, but his love has left us with a heart full of memories no one can steal.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Tammie Beavers; father, Jerry Beavers; children, Brittany Gretsch, Anthony Beavers, Mariah Benitez, and Briana Koerner. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren.
