Joan Lillie Lee Cason-Ellis

Joan is survived by her son Robert Ellis Jr.; her daughter Jacqueline Ellis; and her son Jay Ellis; her sister Ethel Spain, her sister Flora Cooper, her sister Janice Etienne, her brother William Cason, her brother Pernell Cason and her brother Joshua Cason. Mrs. Ellis is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her father Pernell W. Cason and her mother Lucy V. Wills; her sister Patricia Powell and her brother James Cason.

Visitation for Joan will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 North Douty Street, Hanford, California. Funeral Services will occur Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Koinonia Church, 12536 Hanford-Armona Rd, Hanford, California 93230; Interment to follow immediately at Hanford Cemetery District, 10500 S 10th Ave, Hanford, CA 93230.

Serving as pallbearers are Eric Cason, James Ellis, Jay P. Ellis, Anthony Frank, Anthony Porter, Michael Gamble Jr., Desmond James, Dameon Ross, Lamont Williams, Vontrey Gamble, Theodus Jacobs and Mitchell Toney.
