Joann Donna (Baughman) Parsons

Joann was born in Whittier, Alaska, and later made her home in Lemoore, California, where she devoted herself to raising her four sons after the loss of her husband. She worked for many years at 7 Eleven, Chief Auto Parts, and the Walmart Pharmacy Warehouse, and took pride in being dependable and hardworking. Joann enjoyed bargain shopping and crafts, but above all, she cherished her family and friends. Her children, grandchildren, brother, and friends were her greatest joy, and she loved them deeply.

She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Parsons (Jenae Parsons), Daniel Parsons (Vanessa Parsons), and Donald Parsons (Soraya Parsons); her brother, Rick Baughman (Sandy); her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Greg and Pam Parsons, Burt Parsons, Stacy and Susan Brandt; and her twelve grandchildren: Allyssa Parsons, Jeremy Parsons Jr., Cameron Parsons, Jaslyn Parsons, Jalina Parsons, Candice Parsons, Jayden Parsons, Miles Parsons, Cayla Parsons, Crew Parsons, Maverick Parsons, and Lincoln Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Baughman; her mother, Yoko Baughman; her beloved husband, Derick Parsons; her brother, Tim Baughman; and her son, Eric Parsons.

A graveside service will be held on February 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lemoore Cemetery, 1441 N. Lemoore Ave, Lemoore, CA 93245. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Joann will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her kindness, and the care she showed to those around her. She will be deeply missed.
