

She is survived by her husband Roland “Skip” Vincent of Hanford, son Jason Vincent of Hanford & daughter Kimberly Vincent of Valdosta, Georgia. Jovita has 4 grandchildren; Logan Cabral, Cade Giddens, Paige Giddens and Brooklyn Vincent.
Jovita was the 1st born of 10 children to Paul & Esther Rubalcava. She is survived by Christine Randolph of Hanford, Stella Yarbrough of Hanford, Carol Orosco of Hanford, Margie Lopez of Hanford, Rachel Scott of Hanford, Steve Rubalcava of Hanford, Gloria Authier of Grover City and Jay Rubalcava of Hanford and numerous nieces & nephews.
Jovita was preceded in death by her parents Paul & Esther Rubalcava and Brother Paul Rubalcava Jr.
As “Jo” she was lovingly known by her family, attended McCarthy School from kindergarten to 8th grade. Attended and graduated from Hanford Joint Union High School in 1964, then graduated from COS in 1966. She was an active member to First Southern Baptist Church of Hanford for 24 years and for 20 of those years she was a Sunday school teacher for the pre-school age.
Jovita was employed at Chem-Waste & recently retired. Jovita was currently the president of American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in Hanford. The pass 1 ½ year she took a great joy assisting with the care of her aunt “CoCo” Mary Leon.
After the passing of her brother Paul Rubalcava Jr., Jo actively participated in relay for life.

Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel. Visitation will also be held at Hanford First Southern Baptist Church 1207 N. 11th Ave Hanford on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of People’s Funeral Chapel.
