

He was 97 years old, born in Fairbury, Nebraska on January 15, 1918, to George and Lula Curry. He passed away in Hanford California on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II where he met and married Helen Green, the daughter of Rev. Russell Green. They settled and made their home in Kings County where he then worked as a dairyman, mechanic and a machinist.
Surviving him are his children; Doris Curry, Vivian Piestrup (Bruce), Ed Curry (Sue), Winnie Pichurko (Steven), Russell Curry (Barbara) & Glenn Curry (Carol), and 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife; Nancy Focht who he married later in life.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Helen Curry and a daughter, Carol Cobb.
Lloyd will surely be missed by family, church family and all who knew him.
He attended church faithfully at the Central Community Church of God; 1100 N. Redington Street, Hanford, CA 93230 where his Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., followed by Burial at Grangeville Cemetery; 10428 14th Avenue, Armona, CA 93202.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers to please send donations in Lloyd Curry’s memory to Central Community Church.
