Patricia Ann Keel

Patricia was a devoted wife for over 49 years and a mother of ten. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren which she described as her greatest accomplishments. Patricia was a very devoted Christian woman who was very involved in church. From Mt. Olive Baptist Church to New Testament Baptist Church and saved for over 66 years. Being part of the choir to teaching Christian education. Patricia went back to school and received her AA degree in liberal arts, and her AS degree in Child Development. Plus, she received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and enjoyed working as a teacher. These were some of her many accomplishments.

Patricia had many talents: playing the guitar and keyboard, singing, drawing, writing, cooking, quilting and so much more. She also loved to travel which her children will continue to finish all her traveling plans she had yet to finish. Patricia had 10 children, 15 grandchildren and still had enough love to be part of CASA which is a program that supports and promotes court-appointed advocates for abused or neglected children. She was a part of this program for over 5 years and loved helping children anyway she could.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents David and Lula Mae Cotton. Patricia is survived by her husband David Keel (Armona), their children: Mathew Keel (Amy), Charly Keel (Melissa), Erica Pepe (Steven), Patrick Keel (Mirella), Amanda Jean-Louis, Melissa Keel, Johnathan Keel (Cassandra), Brandon Keel (Adriana), Monica Keel, and Stephen Keel, her siblings: Octavier Cotton (Joyce), David Cotton Jr, Shelia Cason (AL), Ricky Cotton (Kelly), Laverne Cotton, and Joel Cotton (Karen), and 15 Grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 18, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel (501 N Douty St, Hanford, CA 93230). The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at New Testament Baptist Church (1010 W Grangeville Blvd, Hanford, CA 93230) with burial to follow at Grangeville Cemetery.
