Paul Timothy Atkinson

Tim was born in Blanchard, Oklahoma on April 20th 1931. In 1950 he joined the US Air Force. He served for 4 years and was in the Korean War. Tim was married to the love of his life Edna for 74 years and had two children Debbie Thomas and late son Greg Atkinson.

Tim and Edna opened Tim’s Paint and Wallpaper in 1973 in Hanford. After having his successful store for 24 years they retired. Tim was a strong man of faith. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Lemoore. He had a heart for serving God. One way he did this was through his writings. He would give his writings to friends, family and business around town.

Tim is survived by his wife Edna, daughter Debbie,3 grandchildren Shalome Hubrich (Matt), Steven Thomas (Kristi) and Sarah Turner (Andy), 7 great-grandkids Brendin, David, Colson, Billie, Dylan, Waylon, and Ellie May.

Viewing services for Tim will be January 13th at People’s Funeral Chapel on 501 N. Douty in Hanford from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Please join us on January 14th at Hanford Cemetery on 321 S. Tenth Street in Hanford at 10:00am. Funeral/Memorial right after at Church of the Nazarene in Lemoore on 735 D St.
