
On Tuesday, October 22, 2013, Randy Wayne Patch of Hanford went to heaven. Randy was born in Bisbee, Arizona on March 5, 1953 to Norman and Muriel Patch. He first moved to Hanford in 1966. He was married to Aileen Rocha, the love of his life, for 38 years. Randy and Aileen lived in Hanford where they raised their three children. Erika, Brandon and Justin.
Randy will be remembered for his strong work ethic and of always providing for his family, which he learned from his father. He will be remembered for his humor, quick with a story or a joke. He was always friendly to everyone he met, never knew a stranger, and always brightened a room. He always made others feel welcomed and liked.
Randy worked in retail for twenty years and for the last fifteen years he worked at Corcoran Prison, mostly recently as the charismatic mailman at the prison. He worked diligently and always did his best and brought light and goodness to every job he had.
You could find Randy every vacation, holiday and many weekends at their Grover Beach home relaxing with his wife, enjoying the coast. He also enjoyed a good game of pool and sitting out in his playroom having conversations with his family and many close friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Muriel and Normal Patch. He is survived by the love of his life, Aileen, his daughter Erika and son-in-law Mike Hoggard, his sons Brandon and Justin, and his grandchildren Mikayla and McCormick Hoggard. He is also survived by his brother Gary and his wife Nancy, and sisters Karen and her husband Richard Weirich, and Sandra Dorsett.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Hanford Fraternal Hall located at 1015 N. 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.
Randy will be forever loved and missed by his family and countless friends
