Robert Frank Mattos (Bob) was born in Visalia, CA, on March 3, 1930 and passed away October 23, 2024 in Hanford, CA. He worked as a Leadman for the Water Division of the City of Hanford for over 30 years. He proudly served as a Call Fireman for the City of Hanford for 25 years.
Bob is predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Bobbie, his son David, and son-in-law Aldon Holder. He is survived by his daughter Janet, and four grandsons Brady Holder, Riley Holder, Travis Garbarino (Katie) and Tony Garbarino (Nikki). He also lovingly leaves behind two great-grandchildren Quinn Marie Mattos Garbarino and Levi Tommy Mattos Garbarino. Bob will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews who dearly loved and respected him.
Bob will be laid to rest at the Hanford Cemetery where he will be united with the love of his life, Bobbie. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 8th at 1PM.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Adventist Health who took such good care of him, and to Valley Christian Home for providing a comfortable home for him these last few years.
