Robert "Bob" Paul Weisser

Robert Paul "Bob" Weisser, 89, was born on May 16, 1936, in Monterey, California. He passed away peacefully in his home in Hanford, CAlifornia on February 5, 2026 surrounded by his daughter Linda and granddaughters Kira and Hannah.

Bob moved to Hanford in 1947 and proudly made it his lifelong home. He worked for Hanford Refrigeration for many years before opening his own business, Weisser's Refrigeration. In 1980, he began working at NAS Lemoore Civil Service as a mechanic in the Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ventilation shop. He became a supervisor in 1987 and was honored as Supervisor of the Year in 1998 before retiring.

In retirement, Bob enjoyed traveling and once completed a memorable 90-day caravan trip through nine states with his brother Mike and wife Bernice, his sister Marily Wickert and her husband Carroll Wickert, and their mother Mary Weisser Crews, who was 91 years old at the time.

Bob had a deep love for camping—especially at Hume Lake—fishing, football, and enjoying a cold beer in a frosty mug. Above all, he cherished watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. His favorite Bible passage was Psalm 23, and he loved the hymn "Rock of Ages".

He is survived by his brother, Mike Weisser; his children, Robert (Bobby) Weisser, Linda Carlos, Sandra Vogelesang, and David Weisser; his grandchildren, Kira Cotta, JacLynn Rankin, Kathleen Schwinn, Joe Carlos, Hannah Carlos, Jesse Vogelgesang, Jennifer Vogelgesang, Lisa Valdez, Derek Weisser, and Ale Kalinsky; and his great-grandchildren, Dominic Dias, Audrey Dias, McKenzie Cotta, Damon Rankin, Payton Rankin, Amelia Valdez, Adeline Valdez, Aiden Weisser, Taylor Weisser, Michael Kalinsky, Olivia Kalinsky, and Bradley Kalinsky.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Weisser Sr.; his mother, Mary Weisser Crews; his wife, Eva K. Weisser; his sister, Marilyn Wickert; and his brothers, John Weisser Jr. and Doug Weisser.

Graveside Services will be held February 19th at 11:00 am at Grangeville Cemetery, 10428 14th Avenue, Armona, CA, 93202.
