Sara Hope Maciel

Sara Hope Maciel, 32 of Armona, CA was born on January 30, 1982 in Visalia, CA and passed away on March 2, 2014 at her home in Armona. She was preceded in death by her parents; Michael and Denise Maciel of Hanford.

Sara spent much of her youth in Dinuba where she attended school and enjoyed playing softball. She worked at various grocery stores starting at age 16. She enjoyed working with the public and was very good at it. She found it easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. She especially enjoyed talking with children.

Sara was a beautiful person both inside and out. She was a generous, kind, and loving person with a good sense of humor. She always wanted to help others and loved God with all her heart. Her eyes were the most beautiful blue and they sparkled with life. She was loved more than she knew. She is irreplaceable and will be missed by all that knew her.

Sara enjoyed trips to the coast but was happiest in the mountains. Her true love was her family. She thought of them always. Her two children Kylee Pascual and Christopher Gaulitera were always first in her heart.

She is also survived by her husband; Jack Darren Brewer of Armona, three sisters and their husbands; Lisa and Bill Haines of Fresno, Michelle and Junior. Trevino of Visalia, Monica and Jason Johnson of Dinuba, six nieces and nephews; Christian, Kayla and Maddy Johnson and Lilly, Mia and Aiden Trevino, grandparents; Jackson Roy Harness and Barbara Harness of Dinuba, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Jack E. and Leta Brewer of Hanford, sister-in-law; Shawna Brewer of Grover Beach, an uncle; Jackson Roy Harness Jr. of Dinuba and two cousins; Bradley and Kimberly Harness.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service following at 10:00 a.m. all at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591, Burial will immediately follow at Grangeville Cemetery; 10428 14th Avenue, Armona, CA 93202.
