Wayne LaVern Henderson

Wayne was born to Lee Edward and Bonnie Mae Henderson on December 26, 1922 in

Mills Chapel, Bristow, Creek County, Oklahoma. Wayne passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his home in Hanford, California. Wayne has been a resident of Hanford, California for the last 55 years.

Wayne was a Past Up Artist for the Hanford Sentinel for 30 years, a rare art now. Wayne served proudly in the U.S. Navy. Wayne loved being with his family and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; Lee & Bonnie Henderson and his loving son; Michael Henderson. Wayne also lost the love of his life after being married for 37 years to his beloved wife; Georgia Henderson. Wayne is survived by his loving daughter and her husband; Marilyn & Jeff Housman of Visalia, CA; loving daughter; Martha Garza of Visalia, CA and his loving son; Monte Henderson. Wayne is also survived by his dear brother; Ray Henderson of Oklahoma. Wayne leaves behind his daughter-in-law; Marsha Henderson of Columbia, CA. Wayne has many special grandchildren; Randy Davis of Phoenix, AZ, Aaron & April Ford of Hawaii, Andrew & Sherry Ford of Porterville, CA, Justin & Ashley Ford of Pismo Beach, CA, Jeffrey & Cassondra Housman of Visalia, CA, Melanie Cortez, Melinda Cortez and Tina Cortez all of Visalia, CA, Darrin Henderson and Benjamin Henderson both of Hanford, CA. He was adored by his great-grandchildren; RaeLynn Ford of Hawaii, Hunter, Mason, Chase, Candace and Colton Ford all of Porterville, CA and Austin, Ethan and Farrah Ford of Pismo Beach, CA. He will be greatly missed by all.
