Ms. Magnia was employed as an Executive Assistant by Adventist Health in Hanford in 2001 and continued her career there. There Yvonne met David R. Magnia who was also employed at Adventist Health. Yvonne and David became best friends, and eventually, she became David’s everything. On June 20, 2004, David asked for Yvonne’s hand in marriage. Yvonne said, “Yes! I Do! I Do! I Do!” On October 2, 2004, David and Yvonne became husband and wife. Their marriage was the Greatest 13 years of their lives.
Mrs. Magnia attended the First Pentecostal Church of Hanford since she was 4 years old. Yvonne loved singing in the choir, singing in the Martinez Trio, fellowship outings, sharing her life testimony of redemption, and at one time, served as a missionary assistant to the country of El Salvador. She is a pillar to the church and a mighty powerful Prayer Warrior just like her Mama, and a heart as big as Texas, with honesty like her Daddy.
Yvonne’s favorite tree is the Magnolia and her favorite flower is the Star Gazer. Yvonne loved the color red as well as dining at the Olive Garden. Along with her gorgeously beautiful smile with perfect dimples, Yvonne loved to wear colorful, bright clothing which is an attractive combination indeed. She loved her two dogs, Cha Cha and Cayman and her indoor kitty, Ki Ki. But, most importantly, Yvonne treasured the time she would spend with her nieces and nephews. They meant the world to her as if they were her own children. Yvonne loved receiving their hugs.
Yvonne will be greatly missed. Her smile, friendliness, kindness, laughter, humor, honesty, beauty, love, wisdom, knowledge and mentorship to many, is second to none. It is truly our great loss but Heaven’s great gain. Yvonne was victorious in her walk with God.
Yvonne Magnia is survived by her husband, David R. Magnia, her oldest brother, Mark and wife Pam Martinez from Visalia, Ca and their children Mark A.
