Yvonne Ann Martin

Yvonne Ann Martin was born on January 30, 1937 in Arroyo Grande, California to Belmira Cardoza Martin and Frank Martin. On December 15, 2021, she entered into rest peacefully a her home in Hanford following a brief illness. She was one of eight children.

After graduation from Lemoore High School in 1955, Yvonne moved to Hanford and was employed by the Gaitan Brothers family owned business, Deluxe Tailors & Cleaners. It was there she met her longtime partner, Rey Gaitan, and together they eventually became owners of the well-known and highly respected local tailor and cleaning business until poor health led them to retirement.

Yvonne loved her many animals: dogs, cats, chickens, and other birds. She enjoyed working in her yard. She loved her family.

Yvonne is survived by her partner of 63 years Reynald Gaitan, sister Kathy Martin James (Samuel), brothers Kenneth Martin (Cathy) and Donald Martin (Sandy), and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bell Martin, siblings Frances Martin, Barbara Azevedo (Art), Rita Ray (Jack), Dorothy Beck (Dean), and several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are pending. Donations may be made to any animal shelter under Yvonne's name.
