Beloved husband of Cathleen (Quigley), loving father of Marc Alan and his wife Lauren of Braintree, Danielle Kelley Chizauskas of Dallas, Texas and adoring grandfather, or as he was fondly referred to as “Pushka”, to Mila Alexis and Harper Paige.
Al was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester. He received an Accounting Degree from Bentley University and pursued a career in auditing as well as joined the Army National Guard where he served for six years. Soon after his second child was born he stepped back from the workplace to care for both his young children, a job that he relished. Later in life he became a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and filmed scenes in over 40 movie and television shows. Cathy and Al loved traveling all over the world, but the place that pulled on his heart most was Las Vegas where he returned frequently. Al loved candlepin bowling and golf and had been a member in years past at Halifax Country Club and Brockton Country Club. He fulfilled a lifelong dream of walking the greens at Augusta National in 2015 when he attended The Masters with his son. Al had a dry sense of humor and was warmly received by everyone he met. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Helen (Kelley) Chizauskas, a brother John, and his best friends, Robert Zaks and Thomas Zaks. He is survived by his brother Kenneth of Deerfield Beach, FL plus many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
