Antoinette LaPie Houghton, 82, of Nashville TN died Monday, October 14, 2002 in the Alive Hospice in Nashville TN after a long illness. Daughter of the late Anthony and Antonita Orlorski LaPie, she was born in Boston on December 13, 1919. She was raised and educated in Hanover and was a Graduate of Hanover High School. Mrs. Houghton lived in South Weymouth from the early 1950's until moving to Nashville TN in the late 1970's. She was a Member of the Audubon Society and a lover of Dogs, especially Beagles. She enjoyed Sewing, Knitting and Crocheting. Wife of the late James Houghton and Sister of the late Alexander LaPie, she is survived by 1 Nephew, Al LaPie of Blandford MA and 2 Cousins, Curtis Maloney and Jennifer Maloney, both of Nashville TN. The Rev. Donald Remick, Pastor of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hanover will officiate at a Graveside Funeral Service in the Hanover Center Cemetery on Monday, October 21, 2002 at 2 PM.
