

Carole M. Clark passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2022. She was born on November 14, 1937, in Winchester, Mass. to the late Carlo Vannicola and Mary (Picone) Vannicola. Carole lived most of her life in Hanover where she enjoyed the company of her family and close friends.
Carole graduated from Matignon High School in 1954 and Regis College in 1958 with a Major in English.
She married W. Paul Clark Jr. in 1959 and moved to Hanover where her son W. Paul Clark III was born. She lived in Hanover for the remainder of her life.
Carole loved to paint. She excelled at botanical watercolor painting, displaying them in her home, joyfully teaching her grandchildren, and gifting some of these paintings to others. Carole also volunteered at the OIUF Foundation where she was on the Board of Directors as well as a patient of Dr. Stephen Foster, who saved her eyesight.
Carole was a kind and caring person. She loved her family deeply and always put them first. She was a light in all of our lives and will be greatly missed.
Carole is survived by her son W. Paul Clark III, her grandson James Clark and her granddaughter Sarah Clark. She is also survived by her brother Carlo Vannicola, loving nieces and nephews, and grand dogs Jake Clark and Dani Grace. Carole was predeceased by her husband W. Paul Clark Jr and her brother David Vannicola.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover, 551 Washington St., Rt. 53. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd at 9:00AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary's in Hanover, 392 Hanover St. Burial will follow at Hanover Center Cemetery.
