Edward F. Shea Jr.

Edward F. Shea Jr, of Hanover, Jan. 21, 2009. Beloved husband of Agnes Jeanne Bombaci Shea. Devoted father Maureen Drinkwater, and husband Daniel of Hanson and Edward E. Shea III of Hanover. Loving grandfather of Cecilia Drinkwater. Brother of Ruth Page and Muriel McArdle. Son of the late Edward F. and Julia R. Norton Shea. Edward was a graduate of Boston College High School and Boston College. In addition to teaching in the Boston Public School system, he worked for Proctor and Gamble, Rust Craft and Quebecor. Edward was a lithographer for over 20 years and a member of G.C.I.U. Boston Local 600. His pastimes included gardening, saltwater fishing, reading about politics and history, and bird watching. Edward had a passion for sports of all kinds, especially football and baseball. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Memorial contributions in Edward's name may be made to the Hanover VNA or to a charity of one's choice.
