Elaine E Morgan

Elaine E. (Smith) Morgan, 88 of Hanover, passed away on April 27, 2015. Born in Boston on July 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Sarah (McDermott) Smith. She was a nurse for 37 years at St. Margaret's Hospital, she sang in the Harbor Choral Art's Society, the Hingham Civic Music Theater, and other choral groups. Elaine was the wife of the late Leo J. Morgan. She is survived by her daughters Dianne (Morgan) Purcell of Hanover and Annnmarie O'Meara and her husband Kevin of MN. She is survived by her sister Corrine Kennedy of Hanover. She is also survived by her granddaughter Sara E. Giovanangelo and her husband Anthony of Hanover and her great grandson Leo James Giovanangelo. She was the mother-in-law to the late James A. Purcell. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Rte. 53, HANOVER, on Sunday from 2-6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM At St. Helen's Church, 383 Washington Street, Norwell. Burial to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
