Francis V. Connelly

Mr. Francis V. Connelly, 79, of Plymouth, formerly of Hanson and So. Boston died at home, peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, January 3, 2008. The son of the late Michael and Nora Arnold Connelly, he was born in Boston on January 31, 1928. Mr. Connelly served in the Navy during WWII and had been employed as Boston Police Officer where he worked for 30 years. Beloved husband of the late Maureen C. Carroll Connelly who died the same day, January 3 in 1996. He is survived by a son, Rev. Michael F. Connolly of Yonkers NY, a daughter, Patricia Ann Mahoney and her husband, Edward of Hanson and a son, Steven B. Connolly and his wife, Michelle of So. Boston, 5 grandchildren, Jason Mahoney, Ryan Connolly, Michael Mahoney, Kimberly Connolly and Keryn Connolly and 1 great grand daughter, Makinley Morrison. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St, Rte 14 in Hanson. Interment in Central Cemetery in Halifax. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., At the corner of Rt3 14 & 58 in HANSON on Saturday from 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Memorial donations may be made to So.
