
Mr. James M. Wagner Sr, 83 of North Pembroke died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a short illness. The son of the late Edgar and Harriet O'Brien Wagner, he was born in Arlington on November 10, 1923. He was raised and educated in Arlington and lived in Watertown before moving to North Pembroke 20 years ago. Mr. Wagner served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was captured and held as a POW in Belgium and received 2 purple hearts. Mr. Wagner was formerly employed in the Produce Department at several area Stop and Shop Supermarkets. He was a member of the DAV and the Plymouth Homing Pigeon Club. He is survived by his wife, Rita O. Sansone Wagner, 1 son, James M. Wagner Jr. of Sagamore Beach, 1 daughter, Maureen J. Coveno of Hanover, 1 brother, Thomas Wagner of Bellingham, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brigham and Women's Hospital, Hematology/Oncology Fund, Development Office, 116 Huntington Ave, 5th Floor, Boston MA 02116.
