

Jessica (Bradbury) Adams, 38 of Hingham, passed away on December 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 8, 1979 in Winchester and grew up in Canton. She was an outstanding athlete and eventually starred on her HS basketball team at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham. She graduated from Boston College in 2001 where she met her husband Bobby of 11 years. Jess returned to Hingham to raise her family and became a very active member of her community. Jess coached basketball at her alma mater Notre Dame Academy and was currently serving on the board of directors for the South Shore Special Needs Athletic Partnership (SNAP). Earlier this year, Jess was awarded the Educational Athletics Achievement Award in Leadership by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.
Jess will be remembered for her style, confidence and grace on and off the court, for her perseverance and strength fighting cancer for several years to maximize her time with her family, and mostly for her infectious smile, kindness, generosity, positive attitude, clever wit and charm that made her so enjoyable to be around.
Jessica is survived by her beloved husband Robert B. Adams and was the devoted mother of Owen R. and Quinn R. Adams, all of Hingham. Loving daughter of Robert and Regina (Connors) Bradbury of Canton. Dear sister of Robert F. Bradbury and his wife Jennifer of Needham, Rachel B. Flynn and her husband Matthew of Scituate and Joshua C. Bradbury of CA. Jessica also leaves many nieces, nephews and an enormous number of friends.
Visiting hours at Resurrection Church, 1057 Main St, Hingham, on Friday, December 15th from 3-7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover, on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Donations in Jessica's memory can be made to South Shore SNAP, PO Box 48, Hingham, MA 02043.
