In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years Joan Marie Ferry (Cahalane).
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1952 and served in the Korean War before his marriage and moving to Scituate.
John was retired from the Coca-Cola company and enjoyed all things Boston sports (especially the Red Sox), classic cars and motorsports.
John is survived by his son Jack Ferry, daughter in law Kathi and grandchildren Michaela Emanuello and Delany Ferry all of Scituate, MA.
He will be laid to rest in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. alongside his wife Joan.
