

On January 28, 2022, Judith Berry-Williams passed away following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Judy was born and raised in Hanson, MA the daughter of the late Donald and Naomi (Hunter) Berry. She graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School (salutatorian), carried a double major while attending and graduated from Tufts University (summa cum laude) and received her Masters degree from the University of Illinois.
She started her more than 40 year career in social work at the Foxborough Hospital, eventually moving into a position at the newly developed Brockton Multi Service Center. Judy then spent a number of years with the BAMSI organization and spent the remainder of her career with the Executive offices of Health and Human Services in the Department of Developmental Services Department as the Area Director, Southeast Region.
Judy leaves her husband and best friend of 42 years Bill Williams of East Taunton. Brother Paul Berry of Key West, sisters Donna Berry of Hanson, Janet Pina (deceased) of Hanson, Lisa Berry-Barbosa of Narragansett, Barbara Chalmere of Hanson, and her sister-in-law Wendy Williams of South Carolina.
In addition, her many nieces and nephews will miss not only her strong family orientation and down to earth/sound advice, but Judy’s steadfast willingness to always lend a helping hand: Stacey Pina of Hanson; Jamie Sordillo of Bridgewater, Mark Pina of Halifax; Curt Pina, Sr. (Bethany); Stephanie Corbin of Easton; and Tiffani Griffith (David) of Canton. Great nieces and nephews: Jarrod Christina of Whitman; Alivia Pina of Middleboro; Curt Pina Jr., (Brylee) of East Wareham; Avery Pina of Bridgewater; Ayden and Nicholas Sordillo of Bridgewater; Travis Hirshlor USAF, Germany; and Ian Hirshlor of South Carolina. Judy was blessed by being able to meet the latest family addition Tommy Rose Pina of East Wareham
Committal Services will be provided by the Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanson and will be private.
