Julie E. (McCarthy) Johnson, 57 of Whitman, passed away on July 24, 2016. Born on October 10, 1958 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Joyce (Conant) McCarthy. She loved the outdoors and was an animal activist.Julie was the beloved wife and best friend of Lawrence R. Johnson, Jr. Devoted mother and best friend of Shanna M. Delorey of Merrimack, Timothy S. Overka on Concord, and the late Ryan P. Delorey. Dear sister of David McCarthy and his wife Patricia of Rockland, Dennis McCarthy of Laconia, NH, and the late Gail McCarthy and Nancy Gocal. Cherished grandmother of Ryan P. Delorey, Jr. Julie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 45 East Water St, Rockland, on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Funeral home service on Friday at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
