
Kathleen H. Walsh Joyce, 83, of Marshfield died Thursday, February 13, 2003 in her home after a brief illness. The daughter of the late James M. and Mary M. Hogan Walsh, she was born in Boston on November 16, 1919. She was raised and educated in Boston and lived in West Roxbury before moving to Marshfield 12 years ago. Mrs. Joyce was employed as a Legal Secretary for the Boston Police Department Headquarters until her retirement in 1985. She was a Member Of the Marshfield Senior Citizens, a Volunteer for the Marshfield Council on Aging and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Wife of the late Thomas J. Joyce, she is survived by 5 daughters, Eileen M. Brady and her husband, Dennis of Duxbury, Geri J. Killarney and her husband, Kevin of Duxbury, Kathy M. Newcomb and her husband, Paul of Marshfield, Barbara J. Harmon and her husband, Glenn of North Conway NH and Christine M. Joyce of Duxbury, 1 Sister, Mary M. Dennehy of Kingston, 9 grandchildren, Tara, Alexandra, Brendan, Matthew, Kathleen, Molly, Thomas, Marissa and Eric and 1 great grandaughter, Christine. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 17, 2003 at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Rte 139, at the corner of Careswell St. and Canal St. in the Green Harbor section of Marshfield. Interment will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 9 AM in the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting Hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53, in Hanover on Sunday from 3-7 PM.
