Kathleen "Kathy" A. Woods

Kathleen "Kathy" A. Woods, 43 of Las Vegas, NV and formerly of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on May 5th, 2020. She was born in Boston on January 31,1977 to the late Joseph and Helen (McGlone) Woods, and she is survived by her older brothers Stephen and his wife Ellen (Hoffman) Woods of Arizona, and Joseph Woods, also of Arizona, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kathy was a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for several years and was a graduate of Fitchburg State University, from where she holds degrees in both Nursing and Forensic Science.

Anyone who knew Kathy knew that she was always wanting to help others, regardless of anything that was going on with her. She would constantly put others first before thinking of herself. One of Kathy's favorite places was Wollaston Beach in Quincy. Besides her love of the beach, she loved music and spending time with those she loved.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Friday, May 21st from 4-7pm. Kathy will be laid to rest with her parents at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree on Saturday, May 22nd at 10am.
