Mrs. Mary B. Barry Bombardier, 83 of Rockland died Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Weymouth Healthcare after a long illness. The daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Shea Barry, she was born in Rockland on April 2, 1924. Mrs. Bombardier had been employed as a Shoe Maker at the former ET Wright Shoe in Rockland for 15 years and Frank Noons Shoe in Rockland for 20 years. She is survived by 2 daughters, Rita Jean Covell of Phoenix AZ and Cheryl Anderson of Weymouth, 2 sisters, Barbara Fratus of Plymouth and Rose Carbone of Wilmington DE, 7 grandchildren, Michael, Paul, Mark and John Silvia all of AZ, Harold Covell of AZ, Lisa Whitman of Abington and Erik Anderson of Weymouth, 1 great grandchild, Josh Whitman. She was the sister of the late John and Alfred Barry, Winifred Rossi, Elizabeth Paul and Rita Decost. Funeral Mass on Friday at 9 AM in Holy Family Church 403 Union St in Rockland. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St in ROCKLAND on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
