
Mrs. Mary M. Condon Mullen, 96, of Halifax died Sunday, May 29, 2005 at the Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth after a long illness. The daughter of the late John and Catherine Malakry Condon, she was born in Bridgewater on September 7, 1908. She was raised and educated in Bridgewater and has lived is Halifax for 55 years. Mrs. Mullen was a Graduate of Burdette College and was formerly employed as a secretary for the former Welfare Department in the town of East Bridgewater. She was starter of the Silver Seniors in Halifax in 1978. Wife of the late John A. Mullen, she is survived by 1 son, Halifax Police Sergeant W. Patrick Mullen of Plymouth, 1 daughter, Penelope Ann Simmonds of Hanson, 10 grandchildren, Mary Mullarkey, Theresa Keneklis both of Halifax, Margaret Mayer of East Bridgewater, James Mullarkey and Catherine Mullarkey both of Hanson, Kelly Morrison, Shannon Mullen and Patrick Mullen all of Plymouth, Alyson Neuhauser and Vincent Simmonds of Las Vegas NV, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 11 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON. Interment will be in Central Cemetery in Halifax. Visitation on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM. Donations in Mary's name may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
