Michael B. Arnold

Michael B. Arnold, 28, of Norwell, died on May 23, 2019.  He was born on June 16, 1990 in Brighton, MA, the beloved son of Richard and Janis (Barnes).  He attended Norwell schools and graduated from Norwell High School in 2008.  As a youth, Mike played many sports: soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and football was his favorite.  He enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, boy scouts, robotics and shop with Mark Herman, mountain biking and body building. He was currently working for Feeney Brothers Utility Services.  Michael was a smart, talented, loving soul and tried his best to fight addiction, but unfortunately, he lost the battle and the reality of Michael’s death is devastating to all who knew him.  He wanted to live.   No possible reason can justify the loss.  Michael is survived by his parents, Richard and Janis and his sister Courtney.   He also leaves his maternal grandmother Ruth Barnes of Brookline.   He will join his deceased grandparents Russell Barnes and Richard and Mary Arnold.   Dear nephew of Sandra and John Yong, Paul and Gail Norris, Russell and Lisa Barnes, Mary Jane Espinoza, Steven and Cynthia Arnold, and Catherine Shaw.  He leaves cousins Jenna, Christopher, Andrew, Katie, Heather, Leah, Kaytie, Brooke, Steven, Michael and Sarah. He loved his dogs Brady, Riley and Ben.  Michael leaves behind many loving new and long-time friends.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., (Rt. 53), Hanover on Wednesday, May 29th from 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30th at 10am at St. Helen's Church, 383 Washington St., (Rt. 53), Norwell. Burial to follow in Stetson Meadows Cemetery, Norwell.
