Mr. Morgan C. Christy, 95 of Rockland formerly of Dorchester died Sunday November 8, 2009 at the Coyne Healthcare Center in Rockland. He was born in Louisville KY on July 18, 1914. He was raised and educated in KY and had lived in Dorchester before moving to Rockland 50 years ago. Mr. Christy served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. He was later employed as an Inspector at the Boston Naval Shipyard in Charlestown. Morgan was the husband of the late Irma M. Crudup Christy and was the father of Peter C. Fallon and Kathryn M. Christy-White and was also the grandfather of 2. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St., in ROCKLAND on Friday from 11-12 noon followed by a Graveside Service at 12:30 at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
