

Palma "Pam"(D'Amico) DiGennaro, 91, died Friday, July 25 after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she summered in Scituate for many years before moving to Florida. She graduated from Burdette College in Boston where she worked as an accountant for several years. She also owned and operated a women's boutique in Boston where she organized several charity fund raisers to benefit local schools including Fontbonne Academy where she served as President of The Mother's Guild. Palma was a former active member of the Junior League of Boston and Women's Italian Club of Boston. She was a former leader in the Girl Scouts of America and active in both St. Gregory's and St. Brendan's parishes. During the 1960's and 1970's, she worked tirelessly on several political campaigns in the Boston area. Palma was married to the late Anthony DiGennaro of New York City, a highly decorated WWII veteran and the first registered Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is survived by her children Pamela A Curtis of Hanover, and Louise DiGennaro Damon of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. and her husband Dennis Damon, and Anthony DiGennaro of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She was the grandmother of Robert Curtis, IV and his wife Suzanne of Hanover, Michael Curtis of Hanover and Christian Damon of Los Angeles, CA and great-grandmother to Elizabeth and Robby Curtis of Hanover. Palma was the loving sister of the late Linda (D'Amico) Folino of Chestnut Hill, Claire (D'Amico) Sainato and her husband Dr. Robert Sainato of Weston and Highland Beach, FL, and loving aunt to their daughter Dyanne of Weston. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St, HANOVER, from 4-7 PM, on Thursday July 31. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10AM at St. Mary's of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery 990 Lagrange St, West Roxbury, MA. Donations may be made in Palma's memory to The Blinded Veterans Association, Florida Regional Group, 3801 Coco Grove Avenue Miami, FL. 33133.
