Patrick J. Buckley

Patrick J. Buckley, 69, of Rockland died Monday, July 7, 2003 at the South Shore Nursing Facility in Rockland after a long illness. The son of the late John J. and Julia Sullivan Buckley, he was born in Boston on June 11, 1934. He was raised and educated in Boston and was a Graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School and attended Boston College. Mr. Buckley served in the Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a Mortgage Officer for the South Weymouth Savings Bank. He is survived by 2 sons, John E. Buckley of Germany and Stephen P. Buckley of Rockland, 3 daughters, Susan Buckley of CA, Julia M. Leone of Hanover and Jacqueline S. Buckley of Winthrop, 4 brothers, Fr. John Buckley of Brazil, Michael Buckley of Norwood, Joseph Buckley of Roslindale and William Buckley of Medway, 3 sisters, Joan Hanley of Stoneham, Sheila Shruhan of Foxboro and Mary Austin of Milton, 2 grandchildren, Michael Ashton and Kristi Ashton and his former Wife, Sharon A. Mihlfried Buckley of Rockland. He was the brother of the late Thomas Buckley and the late Timothy Buckley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2003 at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street in Rockland. Interment will be in the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne.
