Patrick Clifford

Patrick Clifford, age 84, of Duxbury, MA passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his home of over 50 years.  Born in Boston, MA and growing up in Southie and Dorchester, Pat was the Son of the late Michael and Hannah (née Sullivan) Clifford of Ireland/Boston.  Pat was the beloved husband of his late wife Pauline (née Tolstuk). Loving Father of his son Michael Clifford, and his wife Denise, of Brockton.  Doting grandfather of Daniel Clifford of Brockton. Pat is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Pat was preceded in death by his sisters Mary (Vesey), Norine (Flynn) and Joan (Kelly).  

Pat joined the United States Airforce in 1958 and served proudly until his honorable discharge in 1962.  Pat worked for Xerox, as a repair technician, for over 30 years, before retiring to enjoy his countless hobbies, including model trains and buying as many "As Seen On TV" items as would catch his fancy.  Prior to his wife's passing, they enjoyed trips to Arizona and the four corners and had plans for many other destinations.  Pat enjoyed lunch with his son "and the guys" every Saturday at Tommy Doyles (at Sidelines) in Brockton, where each meal ended with a hoodsie cup as dessert.  

In keeping with Pat's wishes a private funeral service will be held.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Tommy Doyles (at Sidelines) in Brockton on Saturday, November 16th at 12pm for family and friends wishing to share a funny story or two.
