

Born in Waltham, he was the son of Carol (Kennedy) Willis and the late William Willis Sr. of Maynard. The loving husband of Lynn (Mahan) Willis, to whom he was married to for 15 years. In addition to his wife Lynn and Mother Carol, William is also survived by his children Ryan Lofgren and Samantha of Abington, Brandon Tebo of Florida, Samantha Wheeler and Nathan of New Mexico, and Kirstyn Knowles and John of Maine, along with his brother Robert Willis of Maynard. William is also survived by his many in laws, aunts, cousins, and nieces. Sadly, William was pre deceased by his daughter Katrina Coffey and two brothers Matthew and Michael Willis.
William attended Maynard High School, in the Class of '91. He was the life of the party and would often be found laughing with friends and family. His love of New England Sports was immeasurable, as an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins, a game was always on. William was also a proud member of the B.P.O.E. Maynard-Clinton Elks.
Out of all of William's accomplishments in life, his greatest was being called “Papa”. He leaves behind 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. For them, he was the keeper of secrets, snack sneaker, and “let the kid have one more”. He enjoyed walking the beach, playing catch, and just spending time with his grandchildren.
A private burial will be held for the family followed by a celebration of life for William on April 22, 2022 at the Maynard-Clinton Elks, 34 Powder Mill Rd, Maynard, MA from 2-6pm.
