Farren Kay Klopfenstein, 65, took the hand of her Savior on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Cecil Leon and Beulah Ann (Sunday) Morgan. She married Greg Klopfenstein on Feb. 4, 1994, and he survives. She was an active member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Farren enjoyed shopping in Shipshewana and escaping to her “backyard oasis.” Surviving is her son, Luke (Elyse) DeWitt; stepsons, Nick (Dana) Klopfenstein
and Adam (Mattithyahu “T”) Klopfenstein; eight grandchildren; brother, Rickey J. (Sharon) Morgan; and stepsisters, Diana (Michael) Calvert and Yolanda Kallsen. Farren was also preceded in death by stepmother, Grace Morgan; and brothers, Raymond Morgan and Terry Morgan. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Christian Community Center of Harlan, 12616 Spencerville Road, Harlan, with one hour of calling prior to the service. Calling from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan, IN 46743. Burial will be in Harlan Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Cancer Institute or Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
