Stephen "Steve" Paul Kammer

Stephen "Steve" Paul Kammer, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Marvin and Angela Frances (Zinkand) Kammer. Steve was a 1969 graduate of Norwell High School. After college, he worked for the Bluffton Police Department. Steve then worked for Wabash Electric until his retirement. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and camping. Surviving are his son, Chris (Shanna) Kammer; granddaughter, Sydney Kammer; siblings, Sue (John) Dickason, Vicki Kammer Hudson, and Sylvia Stephens; and sister-in-law, Maureen Kammer. Steve was also preceded in death by his brother, Joe Kammer; and brother-in-law, Wayne Stephens. A memorial visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home (17629 IN-37, Harlan, IN).
