Mr. Ybarra served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Alicia Ybarra. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Margarita S. Ybarra; children, Joseph Ybarra, Ernesto (Cruz Muniz) Ybarra, Aby Ybarra, Connie Ybarra and Monica Ybarra.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, January 7, 2015, beginning at noon and will continue until 9 p.m., with recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. A Mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Harlingen on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 10 a.m., interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, Texas.
