Darita Garcia

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years Fidencio Garcia and three children.

Darita is survived by her 16 children Nora Sanchez, Arnulfo Garcia, Antonio Garcia, Rene Garcia, David Garcia, Yolanda Covio, Haydee Garza, Fidencio Garcia, III, Jose Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia, Juan Garcia, Noe Garcia, Veronica Barsness, Lorena Hernandez, Ignacio Garcia, Danilo Coto. She is also survived by one brother, Aniceto Galan, two sisters; Janie Duran and Eva Dominguez, 40 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Darita was not only a mother for her 16 children but for anyone that needed someone, she always had her heart and door open, no matter the situation.

Honored as Pallbearers are; Polo Sanchez, Jr., Michael Garcia, Mathew Garcia, Aaron Garcia, Danny Covio, Jr., Javier E. Garza, Jr., Ryan Garcia, and Jon-Joseph Garcia.

Visitation will be held, today, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 10am-9pm at Funeraria Del Angel in Harlingen, TX. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at St Anthony Church in Harlingen, TX at 10am, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.
