He was preceded in death by his parents, Leoncio and Estefana Longoria; and by a sister, Consuelo Sanchez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Hermila S. Longoria, two daughters, Yolanda (Daniel) Longoria Hinojosa and Hermelinda (Felipe) Longoria Escobedo; seven brothers; a sister; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will begin on Friday, April 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. and continue until 9 p.m., with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Chapel services will be conducted on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m., at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.

Honored to serve as Mr. Longoria’s pallbearers are Felipe Escobedo, Daniel Hinojosa, Andy Ramirez, Rogelio Garcia, J.C. Guzman, and Nino Garcia.
