Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Lucio and Feliza Monroy.
He is survived by his wife, Armandina L. Monroy, his daughters, Rosa Maria Perez and Maria Del Rosario Monroy, and grandchildren, Jesus Perez, Jr, Alexandro Perez, Edgar Perez, and Osiel Briones.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 02, 2014, from 10am-9pm, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm. A mass service will take place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Harlingen, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park of La Feria.
