Nohemi F. Torres

Nohemi F. Torres, 85, went to rest in the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Veranda Nursing Home in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 8, 1927 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Irma Torres Moya.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Trinidad Torres, Sr.; her children, Alicia Vasquez, Ruben Torres, Elva Nohemi Torres, Olivia Torres, and Trinidad Torres, Jr. She is also survived by four sisters, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Veranda Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice.
