Teresa Ochoa Palacios

Teresa Ochoa Palacios, 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her residence in Weslaco, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Donna, Texas on October 15, 1925. She was a special person who would go out of her way to provide support and comfort for her children, family and those in need. Her absence has left a deep sadness in the hearts of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by parents, Baulio Palacios and Maria Ochoa; three brothers, and four sisters.

She is survived by her son, Carlos Beltran of Dallas, Texas; her daughters, Yolanda (Michael) Fernandez of Progreso, Texas, and Ofelia (Felix) Gaona of Weslaco, Texas; her sister, Delia Quintero of Donna, Texas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Weslaco, Texas. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
