Ruth Gaither Cain, 90 of Harmony, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Brookstone Terrace in Clemmons. She was born in Guilford County, April 5, 1923, daughter of the late Mooney Gaither and Eleanor Kidd Gaither and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie L. Cain, Sr. who died in October 2006. Also preceding her in death were brothers; Roy, Henry and W.D. Gaither. She is survived by her son Johnie (J L) Cain, Jr. and wife Diane of Winston-Salem, a brother, Wilber Gaither and a sister Mary Gaither also survive. Visitation with be held 6:30 to 8:30 tonight (Friday) at Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony. Burial will be private. Condolences may be sent to the family online at reavisfuneralhomeharmony.com.
