Born in Harrisburg, Barbara was the daughter of the late C. David and Esther (Killinger) Winger. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William E. Donahoe, and her brother, D. Ronald Winger.
Barbara was a faithful servant of the Lord and a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church in Shiremanstown, where she joyfully served and supported the ministry throughout her life. Her faith was evident in both word and deed, and she sought to honor God through a life of quiet dedication, perseverance, and love for others. One of her favorite verses was 2 Corinthians 5:21, a reflection of her deep gratitude for God’s grace and the righteousness found in Christ.
She retired after many years of service as a secretary at West Shore Christian Academy, formerly known as Bible Baptist School in Shiremanstown, where she faithfully supported Christian education and the work of the church.
She is survived by her son, Michael W. Donahoe and daughter-in-law, Paige; her daughter, Kathy A. (Donahoe) Buchanan and son-in-law, Stephen, and her grandchildren, Kaylee R. Serafin and Jarrod, Aleisha M. Crowe and Austin, Janelle N. Blessing, Ryan N. Buchanan and Britteny, Hailey P. Lucien and Jake, Bethany R. Klafczynski and Andrew, Rachael E. Rolon and Collin, Macy J. Bearden and Cole, and Reese A. Donahoe. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at 1 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Neill Funeral Home in Camp Hill.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers please make charitable donations to either Child Evangelism Fellowship or Camp Mt. Lou San in memory of Barbara Donahoe.
